Vintage Restoration
Grand Central Watch specializes in the service and restoration of vintage timepieces. In business for nearly 75 years, we have procured an extensive inventory of long-discontinued original watch parts.
We have revived thousands of heirloom pieces, helping preserve their longevity and their place in family history for years to come.
We also offer a keepsake Heritage Book to accompany select heirloom restorations. These custom books may include photographs of the watch throughout the restoration process, details on the history of the timepiece, and the family history of ownership.
Vintage restoration begins at $995 and up.

Battery Replacement
Grand Central Watch offers quick turnaround battery service for quartz watches. Battery replacement services start at $15.
Watch Appraisal
A comprehensive watch appraisal is a valuable service for any collector. Required by most major insurance companies, it also helps confirm that your watch is authentic. Our appraisal services include a thorough inspection of the watch, documentation of relevant identifying information, and a Counterfeit Buster scan. You will receive written certification of our findings. Appraisal services start at $125.
Bands & Straps
We stock an extensive selection of watch straps in a variety of colors, materials, and dimensions. If we do not have exactly what you need, we also offer custom straps crafted to your specifications.
Jewelry Repair
Grand Central Watch also offers full-service jewelry repair, including bracelet, necklace, and ring sizing, chain soldering, clasp replacement, precious stone resetting, and pearl restringing.

Mail-In Services

Store Policy
This policy applies to items purchased in-store and online.
All service charges are final. All complete services are covered by a 24-month warranty. Partial repairs are not covered by warranty. All repairs covered by warranty are returned with written documentation of the warranty. Our warranty for complete service includes movement parts and labor. Please note, the warranty does not cover crown, stem, crystal, band, or bracelet damage. It also excludes any damage caused by misuse, including dropping, jarring, or excessive exposure to moisture.
All credit cards must be U.S.-based and linked to a U.S. mailing address that can be verified. We require a U.S. State ID or Driver’s License that matches the mailing address on the card being used. Alternatively, payment can be made via wire transfer or PayPal.
Strap orders are processed within 1–2 business days of receipt.
All customer service inquiries will be answered Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM–4:30 PM Eastern Standard Time. Customers will be notified via email of any backordered merchandise.
Refunds will be issued for straps only when they are returned unused and in original condition within 15 days of receiving the original order. Watches purchased online can be exchanged within 15 days of purchase. They must be returned in unused, original condition. Refunds are not issued for returned watch purchases, exchange only.
All special order items are final sale. Shipping charges are not refundable. We do not ship internationally at this time.
