About the Watch
The Telephone Dial model was inspired by the introduction of the first rotary telephone. This 1919 Illinois Telephone Dial model wristwatch was one of the most popular Illinois wristwatches during that period.
This extremely rare collector’s vintage timepiece is currently in stock and has been fully serviced with an additional 24 month warranty.

This circa 1919 timepiece features a rare enamel porcelain dial.
The Telephone Dial is in a 32 mm round sterling silver General Funston wristwatch case with attached swivel lugs.
When released from the Illinois Factory, the dials had radium inside the numbers. This watch does not currently have radium hands.
About the Brand

The Hamilton Watch company was established in 1892 and quickly rose to prominence propelled by their popularity in the railroad industry. The Illinois Watch Company was purchased by Hamilton in 1928.
